Virtual Audio Streaming is a program that can emulate a sound card in Windows. This way, by choosing this program as the default sound card, you can enhance the output of the sound that your physical sound card produces.
This program will allow you to choose the microphone that you want to use. It is also possible to choose the size of the buffer, priority, sample rate, bits per sample and number of channels that you want to use. You can also choose if you want to see the sound entering through the microphone on a graph on the screen.
You can redirect all the sound from your computer to the Virtual Audio Streaming program (the program explains two different ways of doing that). You can then choose where the program should deliver the sound coming into it, or use it to stream audio through your computer.
Finally, you can configure the program to launch at Windows startup, set the number of internal buffers and the volume level of the microphone and speakers. The trial version will let you record sound, but every file will contain some noise.
Record streaming audio from your computer to either wav or mp3 formats.
Connect and configure audio applications to transfer audio streams between them.
